Taken exclusively from the recently released 'Roots, Rock, Remixed' album, here everybody's favourite Washington funkateers the Fort Knox Five rework two classic tracks from one of their all time heroes and undisputed king of reggae, Bob Marley. Infusing the skank of the originals with their trademark hustle and swing, these 2 tracks have been thoroughly roadtested through the Fort Knox's incessant touring and jam packed DJ diary.

Kicking off, the sublime 'Duppy Conquerer' gets the reminted touch, beefing up the drums and effects whilst retaining the true spirit of the song. One for the heads in the building and a definite warm up or end of night classic, depending on your crowd. Over on the flip, we really get the party started with the ska fuelled mix of 'Soul Shakedown Party'. Already a staple of more experimental DJs sets, this mix tightens up the vibe and adds some subtle production touches for a rare rinse of a much loved favourite.
