After the critical acclaim of their first label compilation Barbecue Beats, Leisure Recordings release the second volume of the Barbecue Beats Remixed series.

This time label stalwart Mr Benn gets the makeover treatment and first up, MC Souls Liberation and Mr Benn's collaboration The Jump gets a big band hiphop rework from Fat City alumnus and classic beatsmith Martin Brew. Giving the track that trademark Brew bounce and adding a very Mancini-esque orchestral sample, The Manhattan Rumble Mix transforms the track into a slow-burning mood-setter, ready to prime dancefloors across the land.

The B side sees Brooklyn-based producer Jugoe from New York's Bastard Jazz label give Mr Benn's now classic 'Trubble' the uptempo dancefloor treatment. Flipping the vocal line over and toughening up the drums changes Trubble's reggae-hop styles to a more club-orientated peak time banger.
