Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Nick Fonkynson joins the Super Hi-Fi family with his debut EP. Monsieur Fonkynson definitely knows a thing or two about getting down and shows us how from his EP's first track, So Damn Fresh-a slammin' funky mid-tempo joint that will have any dance floor bouncing and heads nodding. Rock Da Spot is for more serious ass-wigglin' and doesn't disappont with a hard-grooving bass line, stone-cold synths, and even some funky flute action. On the flip, Wha Da Funk cranks the party up a notch with its choice samples, smooth horns, killer bass line and bangin' keys. Finally "Fetia Avae" cools the EP down showcasing Monsier Fonkynson's classy, deep house side. Be on the look out for more quality tunes from this funky Canadian.
