Release Info:
Money in the Bag is the First single to be taken from their debut album “Boogie Angst“. Kraak & Smaak slip on a “fro for their “K&S Remix“ and kick-start a Mexican wave of 80s synths and funked up guitar twangs. Crazy Penis step up first with their re-rub, a downtempo affair drenched head-to-toe in retro glamour, think cocktails by the pool on a 70s porno shoot. Last but not least, Sharam Jey steps it up a notch and moves the guys onto the dancefloor, twisting staccato looped vocals and high claps around a smutty electro b-line.
"We got Crazy Penis and Sharam Jey on board for their diversity of styles," says Wim Plug, one third of the trio. "The Crazy Penis mix is a lot more chilled than the original and it“s rife with their musical traits," he says. "And with Sharam, we“ve been hearing a lot of his productions and remixes recently and we really like his style; he plays around with breakbeat but there are a lot of electro elements to his music plus he focuses on the dancefloor so we thought he“d have an interesting angle on the track."
